Join us for a summer upkeep day at Longneck Elementary!
We will be removing any weeds from the garden, doing some planting, mulching areas that need to be mulched, and potentially harvesting. Be prepared for potential kneeling work and to get your hands dirty!
If you are not a teacher, associated with the school, a partner organization or company, or parent or guardian of a student at LNE, RSVP is MANDATORY for attendance. Please RSVP by emailing shandra@snacgardens.org or sign up below.
Time: 9am-11am
Location: Longneck Elementary SNAC Garden (parking and directions will be shared upon RSVP)
What to bring: Please feel free to bring any extra personal items such as garden gloves, hat, sunscreen, kneeling pads for weeding, or personal tools. Water will be provided, we encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle.
What to wear: Clothes that can get dirty, light layers that can be removed or added, hat, sunblock. Please wear the appropriate clothing to keep yourself cool and protected from the sun.
